These Knitting Pins are made from thermoplastic material in appealing pastel colours. Natural cellulose serves as the basic material and renders the needle surface with a silky glamour. They are available in a variety of lustrous, pearlescent colours and they are bound to impress with their lightweight handle and comfortably warm touch. Wonderfully soft needles with a surface that prevents the stitches from slipping and allows a better control of the stitches. PONY PEARL is a very popular choice for children who are making the transition from children’s knitting pins or for adults who find wooden knitting pins a bit too slow to work with and metal knitting pins a bit too quick!
The pearl knobbed knitting pins are similar to aluminium knobbed pins in function but have a very smooth finish and a pleasure to work with in cold temperatures. The finer size needles are reinforced for strength and durability. The heavier sizes are hollow and are much lighter to work with.
35cm is standard length for modern knitting needles. Some sizes are also available in 30cm lengths.

5mm & 6mm Knitting Needles
5mm are great and packets says what it is and the 6mm does not have the steel reinforcement in them, they are straight out plastic. (thanks Maria - we will correct the product descriptions)
