Panda Acrocraft is a quality 8ply acrylic yarn with the same length per ball and tension characteristics as a standard-weight wool double-knit 8 ply. As a wool substitute this yarn should use the same quantity as specified in the pattern for 100 metre/50 gram balls, or 200 metre/100gram balls. For other non-standard 8-ply yarns specified in patterns you can compare the total metres required to estimate how much Acrocraft will be needed. With 18 well-defined solid colours and the 8 co-ordinating self-striping Acrocraft Stripe colours there is plenty to choose from for hard-wearing, machine washable childrens and adults garments. Also works great for economic washable blankets, slippers and other craft sewing and crochet.
