How do I order knitting yarn?
It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3…
- Find the yarn you want
- View the shade chart displayed
- Select the colour you want
- Check the colour displayed is the one you want,
- Enter the number of balls in quantity
- Select Add to Cart.
- Repeat if you want another yarn, or another shade of the same yarn.
Yarn Colours/Shades & Batch/Lot numbers
We supply all yarn colours from a single batch number. If we do not have sufficient yarn with the same batch number, we will contact you to discuss a partial shipment and more of same batch later, or if you want to wait for new batch to arrive before sending.
We will only send different batches if you agree to this - for example if you are making a blanket or other large project, or the yarn is multi-coloured and any variation in batch is minimal and not noticeable in your project.

Finding the right yarn – by search:
You can use the search bar to find a yarn ply/thickness, content, or brand. For example: ‘4ply merino wool’, ‘8ply acrylic’, ‘14ply wool blend’, OR include a brand name if wanted e.g. ‘Panda 8ply’.
You can then select a yarn from the drop down from the search bar, or press Enter or Search icon to see multiple results. Results will be sorted in order of relevance to the searched words. You can change the sort order from the top of the results page.
Finding the right yarn – by menu / category:
You may find it easier to ‘dive down’ through our menu structure to find exactly what you need. The main categories are Yarn by Size/ Ply, Yarn by Fire / Type and Yarn by Brand. Just keep selecting sub-categories to narrow the search to find the most suitable yarn for your project.
Viewing the Shade Chart
Each yarn will have one or more shade charts for you to view. You can hover over the shade chart and select Quick View to see the yarn in a pop-up window OR select Choose Options to see the yarn in full window size. On a cellphone or tablet Quick View and Choose Options will show the same detail
Selecting a Colour
Click on any one of the colours from the ‘radio buttons’ or ‘option buttons’ to see that colour in detail. The colour number and name are displayed to check correct colour (this may take a few seconds if you have slow internet speeds). ‘Current Stock:’ shows the number of balls available to order (please contact us if you want more than the available quantity). 
Enter the Quantity you want
by typing how many you want into the blue box 
or using the up & down arrows, then select ‘Add to Cart’ to order, or ‘Add to Wish List’ to view other items before ordering.

Hint: if you want to see the shade chart again while choosing colours, just click on picture 1 or 2 of the shade chart below the ball colour. (You can then click on/select the shade chart to enlarge it)
