Countrywide 10ply Machine Wash Pure wool Aran is quick to knit and satisfies with it's lovely handle and even knitting. This yarn is perfect for printed patterns specifying 10ply wool and those internet patterns which call for "Worsted weight" wool and are also knitted on 4.5mm needles. Worsted weight is what UK, NZ call "Aran Knit" otherwise known as 10ply. Aran can also mean a garment with a cabled pattern in a panel or allover, but you can use this 10ply also just in stocking , garter or a basic textured stitch and make the most of the garment shape.
